If you are looking to camp as close to Rovinj as possible the number one choice is the camp Porton Biondi, which is situated only 1.7 km / 20 minutes walk from the centre of Rovinj.

Until the homeland war, the camp was run used by the government as recreation area for the people working in public sector, which is maybe reason why the camp is not that well know, since then the camp has undergone lots of renovation is meanwhile an interesting alternative to other camps in the area.

Facilities at Camping Porton Biondi:

The sanitary buildings have recently been renovated and are in good condition, hot and cold showers available.

Porton Biondi has a Mediterranean restaurant placed in the camp, the restaurant offer a large variety of sea food, local and international dishes and drink specialities. The staff is friendly and professional and handle almost any special order you might have.

At the beach it is possible to rent paddle boat, Jet Ski and other beach equipment. To the rocky and concrete beach you will have to cross the road.

The camps also have a small supermarket, with regular campsite prices. At the reception there is payphones and internet access.

The pitches at the 11 ha campsite have access to power and are cover with pine woods, providing plenty of shadow.
